This class was exactly what I expected--quite breezy. I didn't really attend many lectures but did the readings and got As on all the exams. To do well, just do the readings and familiarize yourself with the general idea of each chapter. He gives you the chapter on the exams and posts a study guide that has everything you'll need, but you'll run out of time if that's the first time you look at the chapter. Overall, didn't require too much effort but professor was great, my TA was great, and I enjoyed the content because it was very interesting.
Easiest course I've taken here. The professor is nice, and you don't have to go to class at all just discussion (you could skip our ta gave everyone full participation points even if you didn't show up). The TAs were amazing and the tests you just had to read the chapter like the night before and be able to answer the study guide and you'd get a high grade.
Really chill class which I would definitely recommend if you're looking for an easier class to add. The content is pretty interesting and you really don't have to go to class at all, besides the discussion section which is pretty chill as well. The week before exams, the discussion leader went over the study guide with us and if you are familiar with all of it, you're basically set for the test. The exams are written and mostly involve explaining concepts and ideals off of the study guide and the content you learn from the weeks. Very nice class though and I would highly recommend!
